Sarah spent two and a half years working in Quito at CENIT. During that time she gained a thorough understanding of the administrative issues involved in running CENIT, and is constantly in contact with CENIT's staff. She completed an MBA in Public and Nonprofit Management at Boston University, and continues working in development projects fostering entrepreneurship and business management skills for underserved populations with the Ecuadorian foundation Catapulta in Quito.

Sara spent two years in Ecuador working at CENIT first as a volunteer in the street outreach program, and then coordinating the Adopt-a-Dream program, which sponsors some of CENIT's neediest children and strongest students. After a year in New York working as an Immigrant Student Rights Program Associate for Advocates for Children of New York, she earned a Masters in Public Policy from the Fletcher School of Tufts University. Committed to improving access to education for marginalized groups, Sara works for UNICEF in Quito and is currently finishing a second Masters degree in Education Policy at the Harvard Graduate School of Education in Cambridge, MA.

Eric spent seven months working in Quito at CENIT, and has sponsored a child in CENIT's Adopt-a-Dream program for over five years. Eric received a B.A. from Dartmouth College in 2003 and a J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2007. While in law school, Eric served as treasurer for Law Students for Human Rights and spent the summer following his first year volunteering at Asociación Civil por la Igualdad y la Justicia in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eric completed a clerkship on the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, and is presently working as a criminal defense attorney.

Geneva lived in Quito from 2003 to 2005. During this time, her dedicated involvement to CENIT as Volunteer Coordinator helped the volunteer program to grow substantially, and donor relations to improve. A graduate of Georgetown University, Geneva currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, Carlos Almeida, where she continues her work with underserved populations working at Habitat for Humanity in Atlanta and with their partner organization Habitat Costa Rica.
